Audio description: Een vrouw als Monique
As actress Monique van de Ven prepares for a new role in her house by the sea, a young cyclist gets stranded in her garden and makes her realise that every role she has played is a mirror of her own memories and experiences.
Audio description is a spoken description that explains visual elements (such as actions, facial expressions and settings) in films, series, theatre and sports events for people with a visual impairment. During short pauses between the dialogue, a voice tells what is happening on screen. For this film, I recorded the Dutch audio description, commissioned by Einon.
