A great script deserves a perfect recording
Good sound quality is essential in any production. My professional voice studio guarantees crystal-clear recordings and offers several options for remote direction.
With excellent acoustics, the best-sounding microphones and high-end equipment, you can count on great sound. I started working as an audio engineer in the broadcast industry in 1998, while studying Sonology at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. That knowledge and experience come in handy every day when I record as a voice actor and voice-over.
I also regularly record other voice actors and voice-over artists in my studio. Sometimes as a service to a fellow voice-over, sometimes at the request of a producer I work with often. Just let me know if my studio can help you get a good recording in situations where your own facilities fall short.
Further post-production of the recorded audio is also possible, in case you do not have audio post-production engineers in-house. Choose the audio quality your project deserves and let me bring your story to life.
The studio is equipped with several microphones; for my own voice I chose a Brauner Phantom Classic.
For a different voice or a specific project, another microphone may be more suitable. For recording speech or vocals, the studio has these mics, among others:
- Gonzo Audio XL251 (2x)
- Brauner Phantom Classic
- Electro-Voice RE20
- Blue Mouse
- Shure SM7B
- Shure SM57
It is connected to a Cranborne Audio Camden preamp in an IGS Panzer rack. For AD conversion, a Lynx Hilo or a BURL B2 Bomber is used over a Dante network, with an RME Digiface Dante as the interface. Monitoring runs from the DA conversion of the Lynx Hilo to a Crane Song Avocet II, then through a Bryston 4B SST2 amp to PMC MB2S monitors.
On the software side, I work in both Pro Tools and Nuendo.
The studio was designed and built by Pinna Acoustics.
